While we may not be aware of these ladies' position, economic or otherwise, they look very pretty carved from a vintage 1940's celluloid that is so thin light passes through and makes the cameo glow. Completing the delicious watermelon color palette is a vintage celluloid tab. (Did you know that celluloid was the earliest plastic, predating Bakelite and Lucite?) Earring hooks are handmade from 14k gold fill and allergy safe.
Earrings hang 1 1/2 inches from bottom of the ear. Cameo is 3/4 inch across.
